Why Do Leading Destinations Choose Domnia

It's not just bookings. It's complete destination orchestration: centralisation, monetisation, intelligence, growth.

1. Centralised Governance, Operator Autonomy

One platform, multiple operators, zero management complexity.

The platform centralises ticketing, bookings and services into a single destination dashboard, while giving restaurants and tours full autonomy over prices, calendars, and content. This way, DMOs and local operators work in coordination, without bureaucracy and with maximum flexibility.

2. Global Omnichannel Destination

Destination visible on 50+ global channels, all synchronised.

With Domnia, the operator uploads the offer only once and it is automatically distributed across the destination website, the Domnia app, the web, on-site checkouts, and OTAs, with always synchronised inventory, zero overbooking, and revenues up to two times higher than pre-Domnia.

3. Full Trip Monetisation

Not only the main sale of experiences, but also ancillary services: transport, parking, activities, guiding, insurance.

The domain values the visitor's presence beyond simple overnight stays, centrally managing admissions (including SIAE), transport, parking, and experiences. By tracking and facilitating every purchase in the area, we transform the destination into an integrated commercial hub that benefits the entire local economy.

4. Unified Customer Intelligence

Centralised customer data: profile, behaviour, spending, preferences.

Domnia securely collects who the visitor is, how much they spend, what they prefer, and when they return, putting this data into the hands of destinations and operators: the DMO activates targeted marketing, retention, and upsell, while restaurants and partners read trends and immediately optimise their offerings.

5. Infinite Scalability, Centralised Governance

Whether you manage 10 operators or 1,000, the ease of management is the same.

The licencee provides the franchisor with a unique dashboard featuring network analytics, performance, and trends, while each franchisee retains autonomy over pricing, staffing, and local strategies: shared data, zero micromanagement, maximum flexibility for all.

Domande Frequenti

What exactly is d.Pass and how does it differ from a classic City Card?
dPass isn't a simple "tourist card," but a complete Destination Management platform. While traditional city cards only offer discounts for tourists, d.Pass is a digital ecosystem that simultaneously manages tourists, resident citizens, and seasonal workers, orchestrating access to museums, transport, parking, and local welfare services through a single medium (physical or digital).
Does dPass only serve museums or can it manage other services?
dPass's strength lies in its integration. The platform unifies sales and access for:
- Events and Museums (with SIAE-certified ticketing).
- Mobility (Local public transport, tourist buses, ski lifts).
- Parking and Stops.
Ancillary services (rentals, experiences, tastings).

Everything is handled in a single shopping cart, maximising visitor spending in the area.
How do you manage the coexistence between tourists and residents?
Thanks to our "Dynamic Profiling" technology. The same support (card or app) recognises who is using it. If it's a tourist, it will apply the standard price list or holiday package; if it's a resident, it will automatically unlock concessionary rates or free municipal services; if it's a worker, it will activate the Welfare module for discounts at affiliated businesses.
Do I need to replace the existing turnstiles or gateways to use dPass?
No, dPass is designed to be hardware agnostic. We integrate with most access control systems on the market (e.g. Skidata, Axess) and with existing physical turnstiles. If you do not have automated entryways, we provide lightweight smartphone or handheld solutions for manual or "walk-through" validation.
Do you need to go to an Infopoint to collect the card?
Not necessarily. dPass decentralises distribution: thanks to a simplified cloud module, any hotel or accommodation facility can issue, activate and deliver the card directly at guest check-in. This eliminates queues at tourist offices and ensures every visitor has their active card as soon as they arrive.
Does the system work offline (without an internet connection)?
Yes, we guarantee business continuity. Our on-board validation systems (e.g. on buses or remote gates) can operate in store-and-forward mode, validating access even in the absence of momentary connectivity and synchronising data as soon as the network becomes available again.

Is dPass digital only, or does it also include a physical card?
We offer a hybrid approach. d.Pass can be fully dematerialised (App, QR Code, smartphone Wallet) for "digital natives", but fully supports physical media such as RFID/NFC Smart Cards or wristbands. This is essential for inclusive destinations serving diverse targets (e.g. the elderly or children) or for sports activities (skiing, swimming pools).
How does integration with ski lifts and skiing work?
We have a native integration with ecosystems like Skidata. Visitors can purchase their ski pass or mountain experience via d.Pass and access the lifts directly without having to go to the ticket office to convert a voucher or collect another form of media.
dPass helps local economies and businesses by:
dPass transforms the local area into a widespread shopping centre. Through the Welfare and convention modules, local operators (restaurants, shops, hire services) enter the circuit, gaining visibility and customers brought by the card. Furthermore, the system automatically manages reporting and reimbursements between the managing body and individual commercial partners.
What data can I monitor with the platform?
You will have access to a real-time Business Intelligence dashboard. You won't just see how many tickets have been sold, but you'll be able to analyse movement flows between attractions, peak transport times, visitor demographics, and the actual usage of services by residents and tourists, allowing you to plan strategies based on real data.
